Observation of highly spin-polarized dangling bond surface states in rare-earth pnictide tellurides
本次会议为2025第九届全国磁性材料与器件大会,该视频介绍了A new type of spin-polarized surface state-nonsymmorphie dangling bond surface states, featuring nonsymmorphic symmetry-enforced surface state Dirac point, SOC-induced sizeable spin splitting.Complex spin texture featuring Rashba-type and Dresselhaus-type spin-momentum locking.Nearly full spin polarization attributed to the purified spin-orbital-momentum-layer locking, inheriting the so-called “hidden spin polarization” from the bulk.Tunability of the binding energy and spin split energy via element selection, facilitating spintronics device.
